Created by Youngkyo Kim, a second year culinary student at George Brown
College, these smokey ribs are moist, sweet and delightfully sticky!
- pork ribs (thin muscle membrane removed) - 2 racks
- Smoked Garlic Grilling Sauce - 250ml
- Smoked Garlic Seasoning - 50g
- Soy Sauce - 30ml
- honey - 40ml
- Sesame seed soil - 25ml
- Juice of 1 freshly squeezed orange -
- standard BBQ Sauce - 120mg
Rub the ribs with Smoked Garlic Seasoning and place in refrigerator for
a half hour.
Preheat oven to 380°F and put the ribs in the oven for a half hour; until the rub
sticks to the meat.
During that time, mix remaining ingredients in a medium bowl, adjusting to
taste and consistency preferred.
Remove ribs from oven and brush with sauce, place back in oven and cover.
Every 30 minutes, do this process (minimum 3 times).
Remove ribs from oven, pour all sauce over ribs and place back in oven,
uncovered (do not let dry out) approximately 35 minutes.
