Smoke adds a bit of fun to this classic recipe, as does the addition of
some frozen kernel corn and bits of bacon. Have FUN!
- green beans, snipped of root ends - 1 lbs
- butter, melted - 2 tbsp
- Smoked Garlic Seasoning(or to taste) - ¼ tsp
- chopped chives - 1 tbsp.
- almonds, rough chopped - ¼ c
Bring pot of salted water to boil, add beans and cook until tender-crisp, about
7-10 minutes. Drain well
Meanwhile, add Smoked Garlic Seasoning to 1 tbsp melted butter and let sit
while beans are cooking.
In a small pan, melt remaining tbsp butter; add almonds and toast for 1 minute or
until almonds start to smell aromatic.
Toss beans in serving bowl with Smoked Garlic Seasoning butter, almonds,
chives and season to taste with salt and better.
